Developing new aquatic species or processes to improve commercial species’ productivity, quality and sustainability along the entire chain of value are the main objectives of the Aquaculture program. The main focus of this programme’s research is to develop research into both new and well-established aquatic species to improve their quality, domestication, nutrition, productivity and sustainability at a commercial level, as well as for the innovation and development of new biotechnological methods.
